Job description

Intro

For our client – a German company specializing in designing and implementing industrial automation systems – we are looking for engineers and PLC/SPS programmers. The projects include programming, integration, and commissioning of machines and production lines across various industries.


Responsibilities

  • Programming PLC/SPS controllers (e.g., Siemens, Beckhoff) and industrial robotics systems.

  • Creating, modifying, and commissioning machine and device software.

  • Integration with supervisory systems (SCADA, MES).

  • Reading and analyzing electrical schematics.

  • Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance.

  • Cooperation with the project team and participation in on-site commissioning in Germany.


Expectations

  • Technical education (mechatronics, automation, robotics) or technical school/HTL – also open to candidates without professional experience.

  • Knowledge of at least one PLC programming system (Step 7, TIA Portal, TwinCAT or similar).

  • Ability to read electrical diagrams.

  • Category B driving license.

  • German language at a minimum B1 level (spoken and written).

Nice to have

  • Experience in C/C++ or Python (embedded scripting).

  • Knowledge of IoT, industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA), Linux embedded systems.

  • Knowledge of machine and installation safety principles.
