Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provision systems using Terraform or Chef
- Orchestrate containers with Kubernetes
- Create build and release process employing Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD
- Use Ansible to manage configuration of systems and applications
- Administer SQL Server, Oracle and HANA databases
- Monitor health and performance of systems and applications in Solarwinds Orion, Dynatrace and ELK Stack
- Script repetitive and tedious tasks using PowerShell and Bash
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Scrum/agile development experience
- Experience administrating Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Basic understanding of network engineering concepts
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Ability to participate across various teams, cultures, geographies and time zones
- Applicable industry certifications a plus
- Innovative problem solving & analysis abilities
