Now Vewd seeks experienced Project Manager to continue our innovation and market lead into browsing on Linux and Android devices, including portable media players, Blu-ray Disc players, set-top boxes, tablets and network TVs.
Responsibilities:
- Project initiation including scoping, project estimating and scheduling, obtaining resources, production of project plan, ratification with sponsors and stakeholders
- Deliver Vewd solutions to customers around the world
- Provide support to customers during project realization
- Communicate with customers and coordinate the development of projects
- Cooperate with the Engineering and Sales departments
- Support, motivate and work with team members to develop their skills, since Vewd’s employees are our most valuable resource
What you bring:
- + 5 years of experience in managing IT projects to external customers
- + 4 years of experience in the software delivery cycle
- Thorough understanding of the system development life cycle
- Practical knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multisite and multicultural environment
- Being ready to face unpredictable situations and able to come up with the best solutions
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Personal skills:
- Systematic and well organized
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Assertive attitude
- Leadership
Ideally:
- Technical background of TV/STB devices or embedded systems
