Role Description

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer (Medior++ / Senior) with a love for backend work to join our small but mighty team in Prague (some days in the office, some at home).

Your main playground will be NodeJS + PostgreSQL, but you’ll also jump into the frontend when needed with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. One week you might be designing a new backend service for AI-powered product recommendations, the next you’ll be tweaking a Shopify app or shipping a new Chrome extension feature. You’ll help keep our infrastructure minimal, clean, and fast, no over-engineered Kubernetes stacks here.

Our Stack

• Backend: NodeJS, PostgreSQL, GeminiAI

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, GraphQL, Liquid, tRPC, React Query, WXT

• Infra: Supabase, Render, Better Stack, GCP (minimalist approach)

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain backend services in NodeJS + PostgreSQL

• Integrate AI into real pet health workflows

• Develop APIs for web apps, Shopify apps, and browser extensions

• Keep infrastructure simple, cost-effective, and reliable

• Work closely with the founding team to shape the product and roadmap

• Ship fast, test fast, learn fast

What We’re Looking For

• Strong backend development skills (NodeJS, SQL, API design)

• Full-stack flexibility (React, TypeScript, JavaScript, GraphQL)

• Experience with cloud and infra tools (Supabase, Render, GCP, Better Stack)

• Bonus: Shopify, Liquid, Chrome Extensions

• Pragmatism, you know when to build from scratch and when to use existing tools

• Collaborative mindset and clear communication

• A spark for HealthTech, pets, or both
