Vendo is a startup building the next-generation eCommerce platform for modern retailers and marketplaces.

Join us to have a unique opportunity to shape the future of eCommerce!

We need your help to further develop our tools and open-source libraries to improve the Developer Experience of our platform! This is a great opportunity to learn a variety of technologies and get involved in open-source!

So, what will I do?

Work in a team with other engineers, QAs, and product owners
- We’re using a pod/squad structure, so small agile teams work on a specific topic.
- Flat structure, you can freely speak to the CTO or CEO at any time.
- Our team is composed of people located all around the globe and English is the primary language of communication.
- We keep our meetings as short as possible (usually a daily standup, occasional pair programming) to create a distraction-free zone.
Write code, d’oh! Lots of it!
- We use the newest TypeScript syntax
- Our developers prefer using React function components and favor React contexts over Redux and 3rd party libraries. We’ll most likely continue this approach in the future. At times, there’s a need for server-side development for the NodeJS runtime.
- We usually connect to JSON:API or REST endpoints using fetch or axios - GraphQL is on our roadmap for H1 22
- We use Cypress and Jest to automate our workflow
Help us, onboard new partners, to the platform
- Suggest best practices
- Help out with the best stack and libraries selection
Engage with our vibrant and diverse open source community!
- We develop open-source libraries, SDKs & integrations (Next.js, Vue Storefront, Gatsby)
  If you don’t know them all, no worries! Nobody knows at the start :)
  You will have time to learn them and you can always count on other engineers on your team to back you up!
Learn and share
- We have our internal meetups as well as public events. You can participate as a listener or speaker.
- We will compensate you for public speaking
