Senior Backend Developer (Python)

What we’re looking for:

• Design and implement robust backend services using Python and Django, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Lead the architecture and design of new features and services with a focus on API-first development and a deep understanding of HTTP standards.

• Champion clean, well-documented, and efficient code with a strong commitment to testing and quality.

• Ensure data integrity and efficiency in database usage, particularly with PostgreSQL, and guide optimization strategies as needed.

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps to integrate backend systems into the broader product ecosystem.

• Identify and solve complex problems with a strategic mindset, considering both immediate needs and long-term system evolution.

• Set coding standards and development practices within the team, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and architectural approaches, and drive continuous improvement in our engineering processes.
