Job description

As a DevOps Engineer focused on Platform Development at Vantive, you will design and build the automation, tooling, and cloud platforms that empower our engineering teams. Your work will center on developing high‑quality Python services, Terraform HCL modules, and AWS‑native automation that streamline the software delivery lifecycle. Working within a Scrum environment, you’ll deliver platform capabilities iteratively, gather feedback quickly, and continuously enhance the developer experience. Your expertise in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, and secure‑by‑design development will enable you to create scalable, reusable platform components that support rapid and reliable delivery across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of AWS infrastructure using Terraform.

  • Develop modular, reusable Terraform HCL modules and IaC patterns for AWS‑based platforms.

  • Build platform automation, tooling, and internal services using Python as a primary development language.

  • Write automated testing for platform components.

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD platform capabilities using BitBucket, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins and related tools.

  • Implement Policy‑as‑Code frameworks to enforce standards consistently and objectively.

  • Develop and maintain container platform tooling using Docker, Helm, and AWS container services.

  • Collaborate with application and operations teams to ensure platform services enable seamless deployments and high reliability.

  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of a collaborative platform engineering team.

  • Strengthen platform security through DevSecOps practices, including automated scanning, compliance checks, and secure‑by‑default patterns.

  • Document platform architecture, workflows, and operational processes for internal knowledge sharing and audit readiness.

  • Use AI‑driven tooling to eliminate repetitive tasks and accelerate platform development.

  • Evaluate and integrate static analysis and compliance tools to detect vulnerabilities early in the SDLC.

  • Drive standardization and efficiency across platform technologies, tools, and engineering practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles.

  • Strong proficiency in Python development for automation, tooling, and platform services.

  • Deep experience with Terraform HCL and infrastructure‑as‑code best practices.

  • Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CodePipeline, etc.).

  • Nice to have knowledge of Azure services (VMs, App Service, AKS, SQL, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, etc.).

  • Experience building machine images with Packer.

  • Ability to integrate platform components with third‑party tools and services.

  • Solid understanding of networking, DNS, and storage fundamentals.

  • Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.

  • Experience with Git‑based source control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

  • Familiarity with observability tooling, monitoring systems, and logging frameworks.

  • Understanding of SDLC and SCRUM.

  • Exposure to security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO; experience with Qualys or Wiz is a plus.

  • A passion for continuous learning, platform innovation, and modern engineering patterns.

  • Ability to thrive in a distributed, collaborative team environment.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • AWS Certification highly preferred.

  • Azure Certification nice to have.

We Offer

  • 3‑month probation period followed by an indefinite contract.

  • Competitive salary, annual bonuses, and recognition awards.

  • A culture built on collaboration, speed, courage, and simplicity.

  • Opportunities for personal and professional growth within a global MedTech leader.

  • Benefits package including private medical care (Lux Med), life insurance, and Multisport card.

  • Cafeteria/lunch program (300 PLN monthly).

  • Attractive PPE program available after 3 months.

  • Fully covered language courses (English or others as needed).

  • Co‑financed holidays and 2 additional annual days off.

  • Extra paid day off for your birthday.

  • Hybrid work model.
