We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our PS Sustainability Team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing and professionalizing our data foundation while monitoring and reporting sustainability metrics across Product Supply, Quality, and IT (PSQIT).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate data workflows.
- Utilize Databricks to build scalable data solutions and optimize performance.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data engineering processes.
- Adhere to Novo Nordisk’s best practices and Ways of Working.
- Establish and promote best practices for version control using Git.
- Collaborate with the PS Sustainability Team to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering.
- Extensive experience with Git and managing version control in a collaborative environment.
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong proficiency with Databricks and its ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Experience with agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated domain leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding team members.

Fluency in English.
- Availability to travel onsite in Copenhagen, Denmark, as needed.
Preferred Skills (Advantageous to Have):
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, particularly Power BI.
- Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools like Alteryx.
