Patch and Vulnerability Analyst/Engineer

What is the opportunity?

As a Patching and Vulnerability Analyst, you will be responsible for the ongoing identification, tracking, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across organization. This role will require close collaboration with infrastructure, application, risk, and compliance teams to reduce risk exposure and ensure regulatory compliance through timely and effective patching and vulnerability management processes. The ideal candidate will have industry relevant qualifications and certifications, including strong relationship management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire staff, including promote a culture of high performance that celebrates inclusivity and innovation.

What will you do?

• Analyze vulnerability data and assess impact, risk severity, and urgency using CVSS scores, threat intelligence, and business context.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, application, and infrastructure teams to drive remediation plans.

• Coordinate and track patch deployment activities across endpoints, servers, databases, and network devices.

• Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate • Research and assess emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.

• Ensure timely application of security patches within defined SLAs in accordance with compliance requirements.

• Leverage enterprise patching tools (e.g., SCCM, SCOM, Service Now) to orchestrate and validate patch rollouts.

• Work with different teams to ensure patches are tested, approved, and scheduled with minimal business disruption.

• Act as SME for vulnerability and patch management practices across projects and operational efforts. What do you need to succeed?
