Python Developer

Location: Gdynia, Pomorski Park Naukowo Technologiczny

(hybrid: min. 2 days a week in office in Gdynia)

About the Role:

We are looking for talented professionals to join our team in developing advanced software for a leading US.-based company in the field of AI-driven video analytics and surveillance. This international project plays a key role in enhancing safety and operational intelligence in real-world environments. The service is in its early days of deployment and grows fast, rapidly gaining market presence. It is exciting time to be around!

Your Tasks:

• Writing application code in Python to integrate third party VMS systems in the client's on-line service
• Collaboration in an international team
• Helping migrate AWS cloud infrastructure into European region

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python, used as the primary development language
• Experience integrating your code with video management systems (VMS) or media streaming services
• Willingness to work with non-Python SDKs (e.g. .NET/C#) when required for specific VMS integrations — though this will be limited and only in high-impact cases
• Solid experience with AWS infrastructure
• Understanding of data compliance and EU cloud residency requirements (GDPR awareness)
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience migrating or duplicating cloud infrastructure across AWS regions
• Demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate small development teams
• Background in video processing, computer vision, or streaming systems
• Experience with edge computing or real-time video analysis
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
