Project Description

We are seeking motivated and open-minded engineers to help us test a pioneering cloud-based video surveillance product that is rapidly gaining traction in the US and globally. The project is being executed by two teams—one in the Netherlands and the other at the Science and Technology Park in Gdynia.

Following initial success, the product is now in a phase of rapid platform scaling, with continuous enhancement of its feature set. It is an exciting time to be involved.

By joining us, you will need to learn quickly and will find great satisfaction in the progress you make. Users interact with our cloud-based video surveillance system through various UI types, including mobile platforms. You will be part of the QA team responsible for ensuring the quality of our mobile applications through both automated and manual testing.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking candidates with over 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, including at least 1 year of experience in automating tests for mobile applications (Android/iOS).

Requirements:

• Good command of English, with strong communication skills
• Experience working effectively within a Scrum framework
• Ability to write correct code in Python (particularly with the PyUnit framework)
• Understanding of web applications, including REST API and UI

Job Responsibilities, Technologies, and Tools:

• Design test cases based on the test plan
• Develop automated test scripts
• Perform manual testing as needed to complement automated testing
• Contribute to the development of test plans

• Test Automation: Behave (TDD, BDD), Appium
• CI/CD: Implement and support automated testing pipelines
• Networking Tools: Charles Proxy
• Android tools: ADB , scrcpy, building apps from the repo
• iOS tools: Xcode, building apps from the repo
• Emulators: Android Studio, Xcode
• Issue Tracking: Jira, Confluence
• Version Control: GIT/GitHub
• Virtualization: VirtualBox, VNC Viewer
• Development and Debugging: Browser DevTools
