These platforms include Invia.cztravelplanet.pl, which offers a wide range of summer and winter tours; Ab-in-den-Urlaub.de, which provides last-minute trips, vacation packages, apartments, flights, rental cars, and a platform that provides flight offers from over 550 airlines; and several others, each specializing in various facets of travel and accommodation.

    Who are we looking for?

    We are looking for a Technical Lead Manager to join our Supply Engineering team, playing a key role in shaping and scaling the backend systems that power the supply side of our travel e-commerce platform.You’ll lead a team of developers responsible for supplier integrationsdata processingstability and performance. This is a highly technical role with hands-on involvement in architecture, development, and operations. You’ll work closely with your team, mentor engineers, and ensure high-qualityscalable, and stable systems.This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys leading by example.


    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Lead and mentor a team of engineers working on supplier data integration.
    • Oversee architecture and delivery of scalable backend services handling large volumes of supplier data and API calls.
    • Ensure high system reliability, performance, and uptime for mission-critical services.
    • Collaborate with product managers and commercial teams to define tech solutions aligned with business goals.
    • Drive improvements in code quality, operational excellence, monitoring, and observability.
    • Manage technical debt and lead refactoring efforts where needed to maintain scalability.
    • Monitor service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and ensure continuous delivery of stable systems.
    • Foster a team culture of ownership, technical excellence, and proactive problem-solving.


    Required Qualifications

     

    • 5+ years of backend development experience, ideally in data-intensive or API-heavy systems.
    • Proven experience leading a small engineering team or acting as a senior/lead developer.
    • Experience in designing and operating systems with complex API integrations, data pipelines, and real-time processing.
    • Proficiency in one or more of: GoLang, Java, Scala, PHP, or JavaScript.
    • Strong understanding of system performance, distributed architecture, and resilience engineering.
    • Practical knowledge of observability tools and techniques (e.g., metrics, logging, tracing).
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or similar).
    • Strong English skills, written and spoken.
