already have experience in operating heterogeneous server farms with more then 100 virtual machines or docker containers
you know your way around current tools and are aware of pros and cons of different solutions
you have some experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration
maintaining your code in git and writing tests for your code are natural habits for you
enjoy challenging tasks, because you see opportunities of improvement rather than unsolvable problems and have customer-oriented mindset
as a true Linuxer are well aware of the superiority of your preferred operating system - however, if necessary you are able to fundamentally administrate a Windows system
enjoy working in an environment of trust, with hybrid working model consisting of office time combined with remote work and with flexibility to manage your working time (core working hours are 10 - 14 o'clock)
your English skills allow you to work smoothly in our international team

together with your teammates you are there to operate, maintain and extend our highly available, heterogeneous platform
your responsibility area: to manage, optimize, test and further develop our Log-Infrastructure based on Elasticsearch (ECE)
based on the overall data you will evaluate metrics, statistics, logs and create various dashboards to show rough overview as well as fine details
optimization of queries and pipelines is your daily task, you can ensure to fulfill the expectations of your stakeholders
you are the first contact person in case of emergencies to help to analyze the root cause and suggest improvements potential of our server farms
Ansible and Puppet are the tools of choice to face most of the tasks within your scope
you can ensure that our internal customers always have the right information at the right time in order to be able to make decisions on platform operation
by curating knowledge about our systems, you enable the support team to have your back while you jump on your next challenge
