About the Role
As Product Manager in the Activate team, you will own and optimise the customer onboarding and activation journey. This includes everything from registration and identity verification to the user’s first successful transaction. The Activate domain plays a critical role in user conversion, early retention, and product adoption, and is directly tied to revenue and business performance.
This is a high-impact role with significant cross-functional visibility and a broad scope of responsibility. You will report to a Director of Product and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Data teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for onboarding and activation flows
Identify and reduce friction in the user journey using data, experimentation, and customer insights
Improve core KPIs such as registration-to-activation conversion, ID verification pass rate, and time-to-first-transaction
Design and implement onboarding flows for new products (e.g. cards, IBAN accounts)
Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations to ensure regulatory and technical readiness
Monitor performance metrics, run A/B tests, and propose improvements based on data
Evaluate and implement tools and vendors related to onboarding, verification, and compliance
Represent the product area in company-wide planning and cross-functional discussions
Key Projects in the First 6 Months
Redesign and optimise the existing onboarding flow to reduce drop-off and increase conversion
Launch a new onboarding experience tailored to recently introduced financial products
Identify high-impact improvements through data analysis and customer research
Introduce and refine performance tracking for onboarding-related metrics
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and experience:
3+ years of experience in product management, preferably within B2C fintech or mobile-first applications
Demonstrated success in owning a product area with measurable outcomes
Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially with engineering, compliance, and marketing
Strong data literacy and hands-on experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Tableau, or similar
Familiarity with product management tools (e.g. JIRA, Notion) and agile delivery practices
Ability to prioritise, communicate effectively, and navigate complex stakeholder environments
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in onboarding or identity verification domains
Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial products
Previous involvement in products with fraud prevention or KYC/AML requirements
Exposure to working on data-driven or AI-powered product initiatives
What We Offer:
· Competitive Salary: Monthly salary starting from €6000 - €8000 Gross month depending on the level of experience.
