Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for data integrity. You are skilled at verifying data issues and collaborate effectively across teams to eliminate them.
The role & the team:
You will join a team responsible for ensuring the consistency and integrity of our Snowflake data warehouse. Our main goal is to build and maintain the credibility and reliability of reporting, analytics, and data across the organization.
What will you do:
Monitor data quality by analyzing test results, tracking data warehouse feeds, and identifying deviations.
Automate and validate data flows, from raw data through transformations to the final layer, while promptly reporting any errors.
Develop and maintain data tests using frameworks like dbt to detect inconsistencies and anomalies in collaboration with data stewards and analysts.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data tests, their parameters, and scopes.
Provide operational support by analyzing test outcomes, identifying root causes of errors, and advising teams on data correction measures.
Contribute to the development of data quality standards, promote best practices, and share your technical knowledge across the organization.
Required skills:
Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing (Snowflake, MySQL, Postgresql); practical knowledge of Python for data quality testing; experience with dbt would be a great asset.
Skills & Qualifications: Strong ability to analyze data errors and their business impact; excellent communication and collaboration skills with business and IT stakeholders; meticulous approach to documenting data standards; self-reliant with strong organizational skills; knowledge of the DAMA framework is a plus.
Language: Fluent Polish, advanced English.
