IT Operations Specialist (KYC/ AML)

Our Client is a global financial services organization specializing in investment and asset servicing solutions. The company supports institutional clients across international markets, focusing on operational excellence, process optimization, and high-quality financial services delivery.

📍 Work mode: Warsaw - two days from the office

Your role

We are looking for a IT Operations Specialist (Cash Reconciliation) to support daily operations, ensure high-quality reconciliation processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation processing, including daily matching and investigation of discrepancies

• Properly describing and assigning open items to relevant operations teams

• Monitoring and supporting timely resolution of outstanding items

• Delivering BAU activities in line with SLAs and KPIs

• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, external regulations, and audit requirements

• Cooperating with internal teams across different countries and external partners (e.g. transfer agencies, fund houses, banking institutions)

• Preparing and maintaining process documentation (procedures, manuals, guidelines)

• Supporting system improvements, including participation in testing, defect reporting, and issue escalation

• Producing clear and transparent reports for management and clients

• Sharing knowledge within the team and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Experience in cash reconciliation / financial operations

• Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and financial instruments

• Experience working in international environments

• Ability to analyze discrepancies and solve complex issues

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication skills and stakeholder management

• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience in asset management / fund services environment

• Experience with financial systems and reconciliation tools
