About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks for our airline distribution platforms. You will work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and API testing, with a deep understanding of airline/travel technology being a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using industry best practices and modern tools.
- Conduct API-level testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure applications meet performance and security standards.
- Implement automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers for timely resolution.
- Work with remote stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to ensure software quality at all stages of development.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and reports to track quality metrics and testing progress.
Skills and competencies
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing and quality assurance.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
- Experience with SQL and database validation for backend testing.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the airline/travel domain is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
