Cloud Security Advisor
Team description:
The Cybersecurity team is a strategic function within TME’s IT & Digital division, supporting the transformation of Toyota’s European IT operations. Joining this team means contributing to resilient cloud security capabilities, helping manage cyber risk in modern enterprise environments, and playing a visible role in enabling secure innovation across digital platforms and services. We work at the intersection of technology, risk, and business enablement, creating practical security outcomes that support Toyota’s long-term ambitions.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a Cloud Security Advisor who is passionate about helping shape and strengthen secure cloud adoption across a complex enterprise environment. In this role, you will work closely with infrastructure, platform, DevOps, and compliance teams to embed security by design, reduce risk in a pragmatic way, and support secure operations at scale.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys combining technical depth, stakeholder engagement, and practical impact while helping teams move forward with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and evolve cloud security policies, standards, and secure architecture practices aligned with recognised frameworks and business needs
Provide trusted security advice on cloud design, covering identity, access, encryption, networking, platform hardening, and resilience
Perform cloud risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and compliance gap analysis, defining practical mitigation strategies
Support teams in identifying, prioritising, and remediating cloud security weaknesses effectively
Act as a trusted partner for infrastructure, platform, and project teams, helping embed secure-by-design thinking into delivery
Translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to cloud security monitoring, incident response preparedness, and investigation support where needed
Help strengthen DevSecOps practices by integrating security controls into automation and CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate across security and engineering teams to share best practices, improve consistency, and raise cloud security maturity
Provide regular reporting and insight on cloud security posture, key risks, and improvement opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Qualifications
Relevant experience in Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, DevSecOps, or a closely related area
Experience working in large and/or complex environments with a broad range of stakeholders
Experience advising on secure cloud adoption, architecture, or operational security across enterprise platforms
We welcome candidates from non-traditional career paths and those with transferable skills or equivalent practical experience. If you meet many of the requirements but not every single one, we still encourage you to apply. We value potential, curiosity, and a willingness to learn alongside technical experience.

Ability to build strong working relationships and positively influence stakeholders across different teams
Collaborative mindset with an interest in coaching, mentoring, continuous learning, and helping others succeed
