Job description
We are looking for a new member for our SRE team which provides tools and best practices and helps our development teams build scalable and reliable products. Treating operations as a software problem, automating tasks and creating self-healing systems will be an important part of your role.
Requirements:
- Must have: Experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS
- Optional: Familiarity with GCP services: Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud CDN, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud StackDriver logging, Cloud IAM
- Optional: Experience with Kubernetes (deployments, services, cronjobs)
- Optional: Infrastructure as a code (Terraform, GCP Deployment Manager)
- Optional: Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack)
- Optional: Experience in setting up monitoring (Prometheus, DataDog, Nagios, Zabbix)
- Optional: Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, CircleCI, TeamCity, Bamboo)
- Optional: Coding skills - ability to write scripts in one of languages (Bash/Python/Ruby/Go)
