- Work on production-grade Python applications, contributing to the development and maintenance of core product features, with occasional involvement in ML/Ops-related tasks.
- Work closely with an international client on a large-scale product used across multiple markets.
- Develop a solid codebase covered with automated sets of tests.
- Learn new skills and technologies as you go.
- Collaborate closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders from around the world to build high-impact solutions.
- Be involved in development, testing, release, triage, bug fix, documentation, and work in an Agile environment. Use of tools like JIRA, Git, CI/CD and other internal tools on a regular basis to organize work and deliver features.
- Participate in technical design and code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers on the team.
- Deliver highly performing, low latency, robust code with high test case coverage, continuous integration and production monitoring.
- Triage and debug production issues.
- Strong Python development experience, including building and deploying real-world applications.
- Team-oriented approach and knowledge of the Agile process.
- Ability to write testable code.
- Fluency in English and Polish (you will attend meetings with English speaking clients).
- MLOPS - some experience with or interest in topics related to MLOPS.
- Familiarity with automation work (CI/CD) and infrastructure management (e.g. AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).
- Willingness to occasionally engage with Java (Spring Boot); this is not a primary focus of the position, and prior knowledge of the technology is not expected.
- Proven experience in e-commerce.
- Experience in working with queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Some experience with Java (doesn’t have to be commercial).
