Front-end React Engineer

Our team, consisting of nearly 200 experts including our R&D team of over 40 engineers, many with PhDs, has pioneered AI solutions across industries like healthcare, fashion, and e-commerce. We’ve published over 15 research papers in top conferences like NeurIPS and ICML.

We're looking for an open-minded specialist to become a part of the web development team for one of our biggest clients. 

What you will do:

• Develop and Maintain Frontend Applications: Build fast, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Translate Designs into Functional Code: Bring UI/UX designs to life by ensuring high-quality, functional, and technically feasible implementations.
• Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve issues to deliver a smooth user experience.
• Advocate for Quality: Promote strong testing practices, including unit testing (Vitest) and end-to-end testing (Cypress).
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Participate in Code Reviews: Maintain coding best practices, set technical standards, and contribute to team growth.
• Build and Maintain Shared Tools: Develop shared component libraries and application build pipelines for both server and client environments.
• Embrace DevOps Practices: Leverage tools like Jenkins to automate builds, releases, and pull request validations, fostering a CI/CD mindset.

Experience and skills you need to join us:

• Experience building complex, interactive applications with React: we are looking for someone who can decompose a problem into logic, data fetches, and UI components.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript. JavaScript won't be enough. You must be cool not only with writing testable UIs but also with strict type standards.
• Using CSS to build clean and user-friendly interfaces across browsers. We're looking for people who understand the different approaches to bundling CSS in a web application (CSS modules, CSS-in-JS, etc.).
• Experience using GIT: making pull requests and understanding how the process works.
• Ability to write testable code.
• Fluency in Polish and English (you will attend meetings with English speaking clients).

It would be great if you also have:

• Shipped complex front-end-heavy applications in the past. We need people who know the common pitfalls and can think both as a user and an API consumer.
• Familiarity with Node.js and server-side development. We value people who think about architectural changes, not just from a front-end perspective.
• Familiarity with automation work (CI/CD) and infrastructure management.
• Experience with enterprise software development.
