Position: Quality Assurance Engineer 

Level: Mid-Senior

Location: Krakow, Poland (Hybrid, 2-3 times a week) 

Salary Range: PLN 13,000 - 19,000 net 

Contract type: B2B or Mandate Contract (negotiable)

We are looking for a QA Engineer with a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail. This role involves spearheading our automation efforts, ensuring the highest quality standards, and collaborating closely with our development team to streamline our testing processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Test Planning & Execution:

·       Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality across multiple platforms and environments.

·       Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution, ensuring thorough bug management and issue follow-up.

Automation Development:

·       Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

·       Ensure continuous integration and automated regression testing practices are in place to support rapid development cycles.

Collaboration & Communication:

·       Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, helping them improve their technical and analytical skills.

·       Work closely with development, product, and design teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications.

·       Participate in design and code reviews, offering QA insights and risk assessments.

·       Communicate testing progress, quality metrics, and project timelines to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on QA deliverables.

Risk Assessment & Management:

·       Conduct risk analysis to identify critical focus areas during testing and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

·       Provide risk assessments and mitigation strategies for product releases and deployments.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficiency in Python and a strong grasp of pytest. 
• Experience in API automation testing. 
• Hands-on experience with Git and databases (MongoDB preferably). 
• Understanding of CI/CD processes. 
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root causes of complex issues. 
• A detail-oriented approach with excellent problem-solving skills. 
• Good communication skills 
• Active participation in developing UI test automation and/or AWS cloud solutions is a plus 
• English language level B2/C1 
• Polish language C1
