Software Engineer, C++ Android Audio- Tietoevry Create (m/f/d)

Join our team shaping the audio experience for infotainment systems based on Android Automotive. Develop, integrate, and debug audio processing solutions across Android, Linux and QNX. Configure, build, and verify the automotive platform, test it on prototype hardware, and validate software specifications through automated tests and structured reviews. Collaborate with experienced developers across multiple domains to deliver high-quality solutions for products that elevate the in-car experience.

Must have:

• Strong C and modern C++ (C++17) programming skills with solid understanding of design principles.

• Proven experience in Python and Linux shell scripting, including creating automated tests.

• Hands-on experience with AOSP/AAOS: platform configuration, build system and Android SDK.

• Knowledge of automotive and multimedia domains, especially audio processing.

• Familiarity with embedded/automotive Linux systems, including RTOS.

• Understanding of modern SoC platform.

• Strong knowledge of continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins/GitLab).

• Proficiency in Git, Gerrit and Docker.

• Adaptability to dynamic environments and evolving requirements while working within a Scrum framework.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with excellent command of English.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Java.

• Android HAL development (preferable Audio HAL), including AIDL/HIDL interfaces.

• Experience with Android Test Suites (xTS) and CTS/VTS/ATS compliance.

• Extensive background in low-level coding, device bring-up and peripheral interfaces.

• Proven experience with SoC environments including repo management, building, debugging, and logging.

• Applied knowledge of AudioReach or QNX Sound in embedded or automotive environments

• Hypervisor knowledge, build, configuration, guest VMs, esp. QNX Hypervisor, VirtIO
