Developer Support Engineer
Developer Support Engineer
📍 Location: Remote work
📄 Contract type: $2800-5000/month (full-time)
👋 Who are we?
We’re The Widlarz Group, a software house specializing in React Native, actively contributing to the Open Source community 🌍. You might already know our work - we’re the team behind popular Open Source libraries like react-native-video 🚀.
🤝 For this role, we’re supporting one of our long-term clients in finding an experienced Developer Support Engineer to join their tech team.
🧭 You’ll be hired directly by our client, but we’ll guide you through the recruitment process and help you get up to speed. Our client is a fast-growing tech startup building a global mobile platform that brings together crypto and community 🌐.
💬 Our client values open and transparent communication, high standards, and work that has real impact - these are principles they follow in their daily work and in the products they build.
🇺🇸 The client is based in the United States, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with a team in the US time zone and can be available for at least part of their working hours ⏰.
🛠️ About the Role
We’re looking for a Developer Support Engineer who cares about developers and likes helping them. Your job will be to support people who build apps on our client’s platform - answer their questions, and guide them when they run into technical problems.
This role will require a junior/mid level of web development experience (both Frontend and Backend with API/SDK usage).
📞💬📧 You’ll talk to developers every day through calls, chat, and email. When something doesn’t work, you’ll help find the cause, recreate the issue in code, and clearly pass the details to our internal teams. You’ll also share feedback from developers so we can keep improving the platform 🔁.
✨ If you enjoy helping people, explaining technical things in a simple and friendly way, and being someone developers trust, this role is for you.
✅ Must-have qualifications
- At least 2 years of learning software development through studies, courses, or similar education. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering is a nice bonus.
- Around 1-2 years of practical experience working with code - for example as a developer, in developer support, or while building apps.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with the ability to communicate fluently and confidently in both written and spoken English.
- Experience with web technologies, gained at work or through personal projects.
- Basic understanding of blockchain and a willingness to learn more about it.
- Ability to write code, find and fix problems, and quickly learn new tools and technologies.
- Good communication skills and comfort talking directly with developers and users.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and focused on solving problems rather than just reporting them.
🧩 What You’ll Do
- You’ll be the main point of contact for developers using our platform - from the first question to the final solution. You’ll help them integrate APIs and SDKs, debug issues, and follow best practices when building their apps.
- When something doesn’t work, you’ll dig into the problem, recreate it using sample code, and figure out what’s really going on. You’ll clearly document bugs, edge cases, and ideas for improvement, and work closely with product and engineering teams to make sure developer feedback leads to real changes.
- You’ll also help keep our technical documentation clear and useful - writing guides, tutorials, and educational materials for both technical and non-technical audiences. Beyond day-to-day support, you’ll take part in developer programs like hackathons and community events, review apps built by the community, and share constructive feedback on code quality and UX/UI.
- Above all, you’ll be a friendly, reliable, and professional partner for developers - someone they trust and enjoy working with.
🎯 What do we offer?
You’ll join our client’s team under a B2B contract with a competitive rate in the range of $2800–5000/month (full-time), depending on your experience and skills.
What you can expect from the client:
- Fully remote work - from anywhere with a stable internet connection - plus flexible working hours.
- Long-term collaboration within a fast-growing international product team.
- Depending on the client’s policy, you may also get access to equipment.
- A modern development environment – the team uses Cursor as the main coding tool and leverages AI at every stage, from feature design to coding and data analysis.
- A culture of clear communication, regular feedback, and close collaboration with experienced engineers.
💡 Good to know
You won’t be employed directly by The Widlarz Group - you’ll work as part of our client’s team.
We’ll guide you through the process, support you during onboarding, and stay in touch to make sure everything runs smoothly.
