Job Description

The role at a glance

We’re looking for two Junior Software Engineers to join our Apply & Connect Domain—the team that makes the job application process smoother for millions of people.

👉 This is a 12-month position, with the option to extend afterwards.

As a Junior Engineer, you’ll help develop both the client side (React) and microservices (Java/.NET). You don’t need to be an expert—we’ll provide mentorship, training, and plenty of support so you can grow your skills at your own pace.

💡 Even if you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you. Confidence gaps should never stop you from applying.

Your responsibilities

• Work with your team to create user-friendly features and product flows

• Build and improve applications used across many markets

• Contribute to our shared library of front-end components

• Share ideas and collaborate on defining product functionality

Qualifications

We’d love to meet you if you’re curious, open to learning, and have some experience with (or interest in):

• Java or .NET basics, with eagerness to grow your understanding

• JavaScript and React

• Git, CSS, and testing tools (Jest, testing-library/react)

• Relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL
  

It’s a bonus if you’ve also tried out TypeScript, Redux, Node.js, CI/CD tools, or AWS services—but don’t worry if not. We’ll help you learn.
