Job description

Online interview

About your team:

The API Team is a group of very experienced backend enthusiasts and testers dedicated to building, scaling, and maintaining many of the core areas in Text.

We’re all about creating brand-new products and features, scaling up key functionalities in the LiveChat product, and developing a monitoring system to track how users interact across the Text ecosystem. Every day, we tackle unconventional problems you can’t just google.

Our tech stack:

-Golang

-MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Google Cloud Spanner

-gRPC, Protobuf, Websocket

-Google Cloud Platform, K8s

We’re open to experimenting with new technologies. We analyze each problem and choose the right tools to solve it.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new features for our Platform Backend Infrastructure.
  • Maintain and improve existing services — fix bugs, refactor, and improve things daily.
  • Migration services to Google Cloud Platform with scalability in mind.
  • Take full ownership of new features, from the initial idea to production deployment.
  • Work on large-scale systems that handle massive traffic.
  • Your work will shape the entire Text Platform ecosystem.

You may be a good fit for this role if you:

  • Have several years of experience in the design and implementation of backend services.
  • Are comfortable working with concurrency.
  • Have significant experience working on scalable systems.
  • Know at least the basics of Golang (our main programming language) — even if it’s just one project, we’re ready to help you grow!
  • Understand and work effectively with databases.
  • Have at least a few years of experience running projects independently.
  • Are not afraid to take full ownership off your work.

The way we work:

We have implemented a hybrid workplace, in which our team in Wrocław and nearby (up to 50 km), follows a 3/2 model: three days in the office to foster creativity, teamwork, and social interaction, and two days working from home.

If you’re based outside of Wrocław, you'll work in the office for three days each month to maintain valuable face-to-face connections, while continuing to contribute significantly to product development remotely.
