Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

At Testportal, we help organizations around the world create secure, scalable, and user-friendly online assessments. Our platform supports millions of test-takers each year, and we're now working on disrupting the exams market in the post-GPT era.

We're looking for a driven and experienced Senior Software Engineer who’s ready to shape the future of online tests. You'll join a tight-knit team where your ideas matter and your work will have a global impact. 

In this role you will be responsible for implementing the core of our new examination platform touching every layer of the technology stack.

What we're looking for:

• Proven track record as a senior engineer delivering JVM-based applications (Java / Kotlin, Spring) to production

• 3+ years of full-stack, hands-on experience with production systems - including JVM-based backend services, frontend / UI, databases, test automation

• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework (preferably Vue)

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate large, complex codebases

• The ability to model, architect, and implement web solutions from conception to delivery

• A mindset focused on delivering business value to the customers, scalability, availability, performance and security across the stack

• Ability to leverage LLMs to significantly increase productivity
