TendoPay is a Buy Now, Pay Later Fin-Tech startup with offices in North America, Europe, and the Philippines (www.tendopay.ph). We offer a custom payment gateway system that allows users to spread their online purchases across multiple instalments. We work with consumers directly as well as merchants such Lazada, Zalora, Anson’s and hundreds more.
Summary
We are looking for someone to drive execution with our developer team and provide the guidance and thought leadership that will build Agile methodologies across the company. You will ensure timely execution of sprints by facilitating key ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives. You will champion continuous improvement, fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture on our team. In addition, on a daily, you’ll work closely with various company units from the founders to the engineers in order to propel the product forward on all fronts.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with Product Owner, and key stakeholders to gather business requirements.
- Translating business requirements into functional/technical requirements.
- Incorporating epics, themes, business problems and features into concise user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint.
- Scheduling and leading key agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups, product demos, retrospectives and planning.
- Supporting the team to identify roadblocks that prevent the team from delivering product features to our users.
- Helping the team to minimize noise or rapid tasks that prevent them from meeting their sprint commitments.
- Assisting with internal and external communication and improving transparency.
- Enabling the team to become self-organized and empowered teams that consistently deliver on their sprint commitments in a timely manner.
Expectations:
- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of Scrum, Agile theory, methodology, techniques, rules, and practices, estimating/sizing, planning, forecasting, reporting, conflict resolution and facilitation – be known as a go to person.
- Knowledge of current and emerging agile industry trends and best practices and internal or external business issues to improve team efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement as a change agent, engaging stakeholders to identify business problems and create scalable solutions that adapt the Agile process and drive productivity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ability to lead, plan, execute and evaluate project activities to ensure completion of initiatives, contributing to team's direction and function; providing advice to the team and delivery leadership.
- You support an environment where the team freely escalates challenges and you facilitate change through positive reinforcement of success.
- Thorough understanding of JIRA for scrum process management and reporting.
- You are self-motivated, a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills.
- Strong oral and written communication in English and interpersonal skills
- Capability to manage multiple projects at once
Experience:
- Project management 3-5+ years (preferred)
- Agile Team Lead: 3-5+ years (preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in communication, management, marketing, advertising or a related field
Nice to Have:
- Certified Scrum Master (preferred)

- 8 hour shifts
