About the Team

TechTorch data and solution architecture teams lead complex enterprise transformations across cloud data platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. We work closely with delivery teams, engineers, and client stakeholders to design scalable, governed, and future-ready data platforms — often in high-impact, regulated, and transformation-heavy environments.

Our teams operate globally and collaborate across cloud infrastructure, data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML workstreams to deliver end-to-end outcomes for private equity–backed clients.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data / Solution Architect to own end-to-end data and AI solution design across modern cloud data platforms. This role sits at the intersection of data architecture, data engineering, and AI enablement.

You will design enterprise-grade data architectures that support analytics, operational reporting, and AI-driven use cases — balancing near-term delivery needs with long-term platform evolution. The role requires strong consulting experience, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to translate business objectives into clear, executable technical designs.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end data and AI solution architecture across modern cloud data platforms

• Design and implement enterprise data architectures across SOO → SOR → CDM (Curated) layers

• Lead core Data Architecture disciplines, including:

• conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling; MDM and reference data; metadata, lineage, and governance

• Design and build scalable batch and real-time data pipelines using lakehouse and warehouse patterns

• Enable and support AI / ML use cases on data platforms, including feature engineering, model integration, orchestration, and monitoring

• Provide architectural leadership on production-grade systems, covering CI/CD, security, performance, and observability

• Partner with engineers, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to align on architectural tradeoffs and delivery decisions

• Act as a proactive thought partner, identifying opportunities for simplification, acceleration, and AI-driven value creation

Who You Are

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Data Engineering roles

• Strong consulting background with experience delivering complex, client-facing initiatives

• Deep hands-on expertise in SQL and Python

• Proven experience designing and delivering data pipelines and orchestration (Airflow, ADF, dbt)

• Experience with distributed data processing (Spark)

• Strong track record designing SOO / SOR / CDM architectures and dimensional data models

• Solid understanding of lakehouse and data warehouse patterns

• Cloud implementation experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP (at least one at production scale)

• Practical experience delivering AI-enabled solutions to production, not just experimentation

• Comfortable operating across multiple workstreams in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

• Clear communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Strong ownership mindset with a bias toward execution

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, or BigQuery

• Exposure to MLOps and model deployment (Azure ML, SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience working in regulated or transformation-heavy environments

• Experience supporting private equity–backed businesses
