To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Polish branch in Gdańsk. 

Your mission

As a Pre-sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by acting as the technical authority during the sales process. You will work closely with Sales, Partners and Product teams to design, demonstrate and validate Techstep’s MDM and Mobile Security solutions for enterprise customers. 

Your focus is end-to-end pre-sales excellence: discovery, solution design, demos, POCs and technical validation that lead to successful deals.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle (discovery, scoping, solution design) 

  • Design secure and scalable MDM/MTD solution architectures (policies, enrollment flows, integrations) 

  • Deliver high-impact technical demos and Proofs of Concept with clearly defined success criteria 

  • Enable channel partners through technical training, workshops and joint customer engagements 

  • Create and maintain reusable pre-sales assets (presentations, demo scenarios, playbooks, FAQs) 

  • Support go-to-market activities such as webinars, events, roadshows and case studies 

  • Capture customer and partner feedback

What success looks like (KPIs) 

  • Revenue influenced by pre-sales activities 

  • POC-to-win ratio and technical validation success 

  • Sales cycle efficiency and deal progression 

  • Partner and sales satisfaction with pre-sales support 

  • Quality, reuse and relevance of pre-sales materials 

Who we are looking for 

  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and/or Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) solutions in a pre-sales or solution consulting role 

  • Strong knowledge of Android Enterprise, iOS/iPadOS and macOS (profiles, policies, enrollment methods) 

  • Solid understanding of mobile security concepts: MTD, Zero Trust, BYOD/COPE, compliance 

  • Good technical foundation in networking and security (TLS, certificates/SCEP, VPN, proxy, DNS, WiFi, MFA) 

  • Proven experience running demos and POCs with clear goals and measurable outcomes 

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders (IT, Security, Compliance) 

  • Proactive, self-driven mindset and ability to work cross-functionally 

  • Fluency in Polish and English 

  • Experience working with channel partners is a strong advantage
