Job description

For our client – a global leader in consumer electronics and mobile technologies – we are looking for Security Engineers to join a specialized security R&D team focused on mobile device protection. The team is responsible for analyzing and improving the security of advanced enterprise-grade solutions used in millions of devices worldwide. You will be working on deep-level research across multiple software layers of mobile operating systems, contributing to the design of secure products used globally.

Your role

  • Conduct in-depth security assessments of critical software components used in mobile devices

  • Perform offensive security research aimed at discovering and analyzing software vulnerabilities

  • Analyze existing attack strategies, reverse-engineer malware and tools used to exploit mobile platforms

  • Review Android and Windows-based applications targeting mobile security infrastructure

  • Participate in the full security research lifecycle – from design and planning to execution and reporting

  • Use a mix of dynamic and static analysis tools, fuzzers, and manual review techniques to identify weaknesses

Requirements

  • Experience in security analysis of Android systems across various layers (e.g., kernel, native user space, apps)

  • Strong programming background in C/C++ and Java (Python is a plus)

  • Hands-on knowledge of Android system architecture and low-level OS behavior

  • Familiarity with vulnerability discovery through code review and fuzzing techniques

  • Understanding of reverse engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., IDA, Ghidra, Frida)

  • Ability to work creatively and independently on complex technical challenges

  • Any of the following will be an asset: published CVEs/SVEs, conference talks, bug bounty recognitions, open-source contributions in security
