SAP GTS Consultant 🌍

We are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Consultant who will play a key role in supporting and developing foreign trade processes within our global SAP landscape. If you have a strong understanding of customs procedures, export control, and international trade compliance, this role offers the chance to contribute to impactful projects across regions and collaborate with internal teams and external partners worldwide.

Your role

• Provide support to business users across multiple regions in the area of foreign trade and customs compliance
• Ensure smooth operation of SAP-based international trade processes (SAP R/3 and GTS)
• Contribute to regional and global SAP GTS projects in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Analyze and optimize business processes related to export control, customs, origin of goods, and preference handling
• Implement new requirements in the system, particularly around export control and sanctions list screening
• Configure SAP GTS solutions and prepare detailed functional specifications for developers
• Assist in the transition to the new SAP GTS Edition for HANA

Requirements

• Degree in business informatics, business administration, logistics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in IT operations or project delivery, ideally in customs, export/import, or trade compliance areas
• Solid working knowledge of SAP GTS or a comparable trade compliance tool
• Familiarity with related SAP modules such as SD, MM, TM, or EWM is an advantage
• Strong command of English (German is a plus)
• Ability to read and understand ABAP code
• Independent, structured, and quality-focused approach to work
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams
