We are looking for a seasoned Backend Developer with extensive experience in PHP and the Laravel framework. This position demands a deep understanding of SQL databases. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of proven commercial experience in a collaborative team environment.

Your role

• Participate in system design discussions, significantly influencing the development process.
• Maintain and enhance the existing Laravel application.
• Administer and design SQL databases.
• Implement top-notch testing solutions with a strong emphasis on security.
• Develop systems for financial processing or data-sensitive, high-frequency platforms.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations.
• Contribute to decision-making processes regarding system changes and enhancements.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficient in PHP and Laravel or similar frameworks.
• Strong skills in SQL database management.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong emphasis on testing, security, and performance.
• Experience with financial processing systems or handling sensitive data is preferred.
• Fluent English
