We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Engineer to support the company’s transition from Jira Data Center to cloud-based solutions in Azure. This role combines architecture, automation, and integration, ensuring the seamless operation of Atlassian tools in a cloud environment. You will work in a dedicated Atlassian team, collaborating with global stakeholders to optimize and expand Jira and Confluence capabilities.

Your role

• Taking part in the migration from Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud, ensuring smooth integration and performance
• Develop and maintain system automation using Groovy and Jira APIs
• Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshooting and resolving system issues
• Optimize and manage databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) for Atlassian tools
• Work on system integrations, ensuring Jira and Confluence work seamlessly with other enterprise applications
• Collaborate with business users to configure and customize Jira workflows
• Ensure security, scalability, and best practices in cloud adoption

Requirements

• Strong experience with Jira Data Center, Jira Cloud, and Confluence
• Knowledge of BigPicture
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting and Jira API integrations
• Solid understanding of SQL (MSSQL or PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Azure or AWS in a cloud migration context
• Familiarity with Linux (Red Hat 8)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a global environment
• Fluent English
