Android Engineer

Our partner, a leading global technology company, is seeking junior and senior Software Developers and Telecommunication Engineers (with at least basic programming knowledge of Java OR C++) to join their team. The team is responsible for deploying and maintaining IMS services on Android smartphones for mobile network operators worldwide.

Your role

Designing, developing, and maintaining Android system services

Supporting IMS technologies such as VoLTE, VoNR, ViLTE, Wi-Fi Calling, SMSoIP, and RCS

Analyzing and implementing the latest GSMA and 3GPP specifications

Investigating and resolving technical issues as a core part of the role

Analyzing network protocols to ensure robust system performance

Creating and reviewing technical documentation

Researching innovative technologies and solutions

Developing internal automation tools to enhance workflow efficiency

Requirements

A degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline

Proficiency in Java and/or C++ programming languages

Good command of spoken and written English (minimum B2 level)

A collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Experience with IMS and/or VoIP technologies

Familiarity with version control systems such as Perforce, GitHub, Gerrit, or similar

Understanding of communication protocols, including SIP, SDP, IKE/IPSec, MSRP, HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP, and RTP

Basic knowledge of mobile network technologies, including 2G and beyond
