Cloud Infrastructure Specialist / Infrastructure Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior/Mid-level Cloud Infrastructure Specialist for our client from the US. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of IT infrastructure who are eager to grow their skills in cloud technologies, system administration, and troubleshooting. You’ll be part of a supportive team and will have a clear path to develop
advanced skills in areas such as AWS management, scripting, and cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
System Monitoring & Maintenance:
o Assist in monitoring and maintaining Linux servers and infrastructure components (Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation)
o Learn and apply best practices for system health and uptime.
Basic Troubleshooting & Escalation:
o Perform initial diagnosis and resolution of common issues.
o Collaborate with senior team members for complex issues and learn proper escalation workflows.
Documentation:
o Maintain and update troubleshooting guides and operational documentation.
Learning Cloud Platforms:
o Begin working with AWS services such as EC2 and RDS under guidance.
o Gain hands-on experience in cloud resource deployment and management.
Scripting & Automation (Learning Focus):
o Use and modify basic scripts in Bash or Python for day-to-day operations.
o Learn to create and optimize scripts to automate repetitive tasks over time.
Collaborating on ITSM Processes:
o Work with IT Service Management tools to handle tickets, changes, and incidents.
o Develop an understanding of ITSM workflows and their role in infrastructure support.
Developing Cybersecurity Awareness:
o Learn and apply basic cybersecurity principles, including account management and vulnerability monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic Technical Skills:
o Foundational knowledge of Linux/Windows systems.
o Knowledge of scripting language Bash / Python
o Understanding of databases (MySQL or similar).
o Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Eagerness to Learn:
o A strong interest in growing skills in scripting, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
o CI/CD pipelines
o Infrastructure as code (IaC)
Soft Skills:
o Strong organizational and time management abilities.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
o Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations (outages).

● Earnings in the range of USD 2,500-3,500 (Junior), 3,500-5,000 (Mid) net per month on the invoice (no possibility of cooperation on UoP - only B2B)

How the recruitment process looks like?
The process consists of 2-3 stages:
- Intro call ~60-90 minutes
- Conversation with Infra Team ~30 minutes
- Conversation with CEO ~30 minutes - this step is not obligatory
