Lead Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to:

🧑‍💻 Learn directly from our clients with 15 years of Wall Street experience,

🧑‍💻 Build a product that changes the game on Wall Street.

We are building a financial platform that researches and runs systematic trading strategies for several quantitative analysts.

💪 Team: 15+ people divided into independent sub-teams.

⚙ Project’s Stack

Frontend: Typescript, Material UI, ReactJS, Jest, Cypress

Backend (Microservices): Kotlin, Python, Micronaut, Flask, FastAPI, Docker, Pandas/NumPy, Dagster, Boto3, Jupyter, Gradle, Poetry, Spock Framework (Groovy), Gatling, Pytest, Locust

Databases: AWS DynamoDB, PostgreSQL

Infrastructure/pipelines: AWS, Terraform, Terraspace, GitHub Actions

📃 As a Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you will:

• Design cloud-native software for AWS using AWS Well-Architected Framework, 
• Design functional behavior of software based on user needs, 
• Code using CI/CD and TDD practices, 
• Organize and coordinate the team, 
• Communicate with the client and the team daily, 
• Complete related tasks: participate in team meetings, estimate features, and analyze the system’s security. 

📑About you:

• You have at least 8 years of experience in frontend web application development using any JavaScript framework, including 1+ years of experience using React, 
• You have proficiency in English, 
• You have experience using relational and non-relational databases; experience writing requests to databases, 
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP or Azure,
• You have experience using Terraform for cloud resource management, 
• You have experience working with design systems and component libraries to build user interface,
• You have 3+ years of team-leading experience, 
• You have experience working with Typescript on a commercial project. 
• Availability until 7 PM CET at least 3 days a week: our product team and end users operate in the Eastern Time Zone, so we need an overlap for effective collaboration. Still, we expect 8h of work daily so you could start later or have breaks.
