SwingDev–a hippo company is the Polish branch of a fast-growing InsurTech product company – Hippo Insurance. We’re hiring Senior Backend Engineers across 2 dynamic teams working on different business initiatives, each highly important, that are reshaping the future of insurance technology. Track 1: TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js

Join a greenfield insurtech project, building a modern data-driven technology stack from the ground up for a hybrid insurance carrier while shaping core systems, architecture, and long-term platform growth.

You’ll thrive here if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience in backend development with event-driven microservices

• Are proficient in TypeScript, NestJS, touched Next.js

• Have worked with large/complex schemas, and care about performance/consistency

• Demonstrable team leadership/mentorship experience

• Bonus: Experience with AWS and data warehouse/analytics platforms

Track 2: TypeScript, Node.js

Build the next‑gen quoting platform powering pre‑bind experiences and top-of-funnel growth. Direct revenue impact, accuracy of quotes and time-to-decision are critical business levers.

You’ll thrive here if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript

• Know your way around relational databases and microservices

• Have hands-on experience with AWS

• Are product-minded, energized by business-critical systems (quoting, pricing, pre‑bind)
