Product: SaaS platform dedicated to fighting financial crime

As a Platform Engineer, you will ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of an AI-driven financial crime prevention platform. You will design and automate multi-cloud infrastructure, implement observability solutions, and build secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Design scalable CI/CD pipelines and reusable workflows for developers

• Implement observability solutions with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic Stack

• Maintain strong security practices: least-privilege, compliance checks, automated policies

• Ensure uptime, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency across multi-cloud deployments

• Support enterprise clients running the platform in their own cloud environments

• Document architectures, deployment patterns, and best practices for the team

What you bring

• 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Engineering

• Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and containerized applications

• Professional experience with AWS or GCP services

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)

• Solid background in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Experience setting up monitoring and alerting systems

• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and best practices

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed teams

• Fluent German and strong English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, or compliance

• Familiarity with Java Spring Boot & Kafka-based systems

• Background in 24/7 production systems with on-call support.Knowledge of big data and storage systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, S3).
