Join a leading global healthcare supplier supporting the United Nations and non-profit organizations worldwide. Our client is scaling AI across core operations — from document processing and knowledge systems to decision support and automation — to improve the delivery of life-saving projects.

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who combines strong Python skills with LLM system design and a strong sense of responsibility for output quality. In this role, you will help build AI systems that people across the organization truly rely on.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AI workflows integrated into business processes

• Build and maintain Python-based AI systems (LLMs, embeddings, retrieval, orchestration)

• Work with large and diverse data sources (ERP, emails, documents, APIs, files)

• Design and manage vectorization pipelines and retrieval strategies

• Monitor, trace, and debug LLM calls, prompts, and outputs

• Define and enforce quality, reliability, and evaluation standards

• Collaborate closely with product, business, and technical teams

• Assess when AI is the right solution — and when it is not

• Document architectures, trade-offs, and technical decisions clearly

What you bring

• Strong hands-on experience with Python in production environments

• Experience building systems with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, open-source models)

• Solid understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval patterns

• Experience with prompting, evaluation, tracing, and quality control

• Ability to design robust, explainable, and maintainable AI systems

• Comfort working with ERP data and Microsoft environments

• Product-oriented mindset focused on real business outcomes

• High sense of ownership and responsibility for system behavior

• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Fluent English for daily work in an international environment

• Curiosity, persistence, and willingness to learn

• Experience integrating AI into real business workflows is a strong plus
