Job description

At STX Next, we are developing the JavaScript Technology Department based on a growing community of enthusiasts. Despite often working remotely and dispersed, we collaborate on various initiatives and actively participate in meetups related to technologies such as Angular, React, React Native, Node and others (we are participants, speakers, and organizers). We aim to seize every opportunity to meet in person, work together as a team, and integrate.

We approach our technical skills in a holistic manner, expanding our expertise both in terms of seniority and specialization in Angular, React, React Native, Vue, Node.js and other technologies. We stay up to date with the latest trends, monitor emerging frameworks and libraries. Whenever possible, we utilize AI to enhance efficiency, improve work comfort, and achieve even better results.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications
• Create clean, maintainable, scalable and efficient code
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Implement security and data protection
• Identify programming bottlenecks and bugs and find fixes
• Collaborate with team members for continuous improvement
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
• Spreading knowledge about new and relevant technologies among the development team.
• Coding features (data access, business logic and UI), fixing bugs and writing unit tests.
• Testing and documenting (if required to help the team achieve goals).
• Conduct code reviews of other team members.

Requirements

Must have: 

• Experience with Angular (9+) in a commercial setting building enterprise applications. 
• Excellent understanding of OOP in Typescript.
• Solid understanding of key software design patterns used within Angular.
• Experience with responsive web design.
• Strong knowledge of dependency and build management systems (Webpack / Babel).
• Familiarity with preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• Automated TDD and BDD approaches using frameworks like Cypress, Jest, Jasmine, Mocha or Chai with Protractor and Karma.
• Good communication skills in English (minimum B2).
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Experience in high-traffic and high-volume cloud applications.
• Designing and implementing technical solutions that are robust, scalable, performant and secure.
• Ability to assess the impact of decisions made when designing and implementing solutions.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with React, Next, Node.js, Python and .NET
• HATEOAS / Hypermedia APIs
