Full Stack Systems Developer (PHP/Vue.js)
Remote (EU time zone)
Full-time contractor
Who We Are
Student Cribs is the leading provider of student accommodation for second and third-year students in redbrick university towns across the UK. We buy and refurbish residential properties, which we then rent out each year to thousands of students on annual tenancies. Behind the scenes, our operations are powered by a suite of custom-built tools and internal systems.
At the centre of this ecosystem is Catalyst, a bespoke PHP-based CRM that handles tenancy workflows, communications, reporting, and more. Catalyst integrates with tools such as Twilio, Microsoft Graph, Access/DDCMS, Opayo, Power BI, and the OpenAI API. Around Catalyst, we’ve developed a range of internal apps that support viewings, inspections, maintenance, onboarding, and other operational workflows.
We're now looking to grow our technical team with a developer we can trust to take ownership of key system functionality. This is a hands-on role focused on high-quality delivery, system resilience, and long-term maintainability.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re hiring a full stack developer who can deliver strategic projects from concept to production. You’ll work closely with our system architect, second developer, product manager, and our systems graduate to define, build, and deploy enhancements to our core CRM and supporting tools.
You’ll need to be detail-oriented, proactive in asking questions, and confident working in a large, complex codebase. You’ll be trusted to work independently and take pride in building secure, reliable, and well-tested features.
Experience with our stack and integration landscape is important. While being based in Poland is a bonus (to support collaboration with our system architect), it is not a requirement.
