Role Summary
We are looking for a Digital Analytics Engineer with expertise in tracking implementation, analytics tools, and product-driven insights. This role focuses on understanding user behavior, supporting product discovery, and ensuring accurate data collection.
The ideal candidate will lead tracking implementation across digital platforms, ensuring seamless integration with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tools. They will collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to generate insights that drive product and business decisions.
Key Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and both client-side and server-side tagging.
- Experience with multi-domain and cross-platform tracking, attribution modelling, and integrating various digital analytics systems
- Familiar with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for tracking implementation.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI).
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in debugging tracking issues.
- Clear communication skills, making complex data concepts accessible to stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have:
- Advanced GTM features, including custom JavaScript variables and server-side tagging.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation tools, and session replay.
- Experience with Google BigQuery for data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define tracking requirements to support product discovery and analyze customer behavior.
- Educate stakeholders on data-driven decision-making and analytics best practices.
- Implement and optimize tracking solutions across web and mobile, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Work with engineering, marketing, and product teams to maintain scalable tracking setups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve event misfires, cookie issues, and data discrepancies.
- Design and implement tracking strategies for cross-domain attribution, multi-platform data integration, and advanced reporting setups.
- Build clear, actionable dashboards and reports aligned with business goals.
- Stay up to date on analytics trends, data privacy regulations, and best practices.
