The Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can take full ownership of complex product surfaces and bring them to production with precision.

You will operate across backend systems, infrastructure, AI pipelines, and frontend layers. The work is varied, but never trivial: from designing resilient APIs to improving retrieval systems, from debugging distributed systems to refining critical user workflows.

You will be trusted to navigate ambiguity, make high-quality decisions, and execute without friction.

This role is designed for engineers who are not just implementers, but builders with taste, judgment, and depth.

What You’ll Do

• Own systems end-to-end, from initial concept to production deployment

• Architect and build backend services using Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Temporal, and Hatchet

• Design APIs that are both robust and elegant, supporting real-world usage at scale

• Work on AI-native systems: retrieval pipelines, embeddings, reranking, agent workflows, and evaluation layers

• Improve performance, reliability, and observability across the stack

• Solve non-trivial infrastructure challenges across GCP, AWS, and Azure

• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues in distributed systems

• Collaborate closely with product and leadership to shape direction—not just execute on it

• Make pragmatic, high-leverage technical decisions with strong engineering judgment

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping production systems

• Strong fundamentals in system design, data modeling, concurrency, and performance

• Demonstrated ability to take products from idea to production independently

• Comfort operating across multiple layers of the stack when necessary

• Strong product intuition and attention to user experience

• High ownership, autonomy, and accountability

• Ability to learn quickly and reason from first principles

• Clear, structured communication

• A genuine interest in understanding how systems work at a fundamental level

Nice to Have

• Experience working with LLM-based systems in production

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern cloud infrastructure

• Strong debugging instincts and a bias toward root cause analysis

• Experience in high-performance or fast-scaling startup environments
