Job description

We are seeking an experienced Blue Prism Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of robotic process automation solutions within a complex enterprise environment. You will work as part of a collaborative automation team, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable automation solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful automation initiatives, collaborate with international stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of automation standards and best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Blue Prism automation solutions

  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical automation designs

  • Build reusable, scalable, and secure automation components

  • Perform unit testing, support system testing, and assist with user acceptance testing

  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation defects and production issues

  • Ensure automations comply with security, governance, and operational standards

  • Contribute to documentation, including solution design documents and operational guides

  • Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and development standards


Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience developing automations using Blue Prism

  • Strong understanding of robotic process automation concepts and best practices

  • Experience working with object-oriented design principles within Blue Prism

  • Ability to interpret business processes and translate them into automation solutions

  • Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team-based and international settings


Desirable Skills

  • Experience working within an Automation Centre of Excellence

  • Exposure to process analysis and process improvement methodologies

  • Experience with version control, release management, or structured delivery frameworks

  • Background in testing, quality assurance, or production support of automations

  • Able to manage workload independently while collaborating closely with others
