Java Software Engineer

Strategic Staffing Solutions International customer is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management company. We are currently looking for a skilled Java Developer for an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for an extension. 

This is a fully on-site position (5 days in the Warsaw office).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Optimize performance and memory management in concurrent systems.
• Work with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) and messaging platforms (Apache Kafka).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong Java programming skills with expertise in object-oriented design.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
• Experience with concurrency and memory management in Java.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or interest in trading technologies and front-office systems.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Experience working with Apache Kafka.
