QA Engineer

Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing automated tests across UI and API, ensuring system reliability and data accuracy. This role emphasizes strong Java, Selenium, and SQL skills, integration of tests within CI/CD pipelines, and close collaboration with QA and Development teams to enhance coverage and efficiency. This is a fixed-term contract role, running from October 2025 through December 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG.

• Collaborate on a daily basis with another Test Automation Engineer to ensure alignment in approach, standards, and framework maintenance.

• Work closely with Manual QA engineers to identify high-priority scenarios for automation and increase overall test coverage.

• Integrate API testing into the automation framework.

• Execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams on resolutions.

• Maintain test data and ensure consistent test environment configuration.

  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong proficiency in Java for automation testing.

• Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).

• Hands-on experience with Selenium Grid.

• Experience integrating API requests into automation frameworks.

• Good knowledge of SQL.

  
  

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with mobile test automation (e.g., Appium or other frameworks).

• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools and willingness to apply them in automation processes.

• Knowledge of additional automation frameworks.
