Job description

Stonly is an AI knowledge platform for customer service. Our SaaS platform helps companies (DraftKings, King, Estēe Lauder, Personio, and many more) automate their customer service with AI and interactive knowledge delivered at the point of need for both agents and customers.

The company was created 6 years ago by Alexis (former co-founder and CPO of Dashlane), David (ex VP sales and marketing at Calendly) & Krzysztof (ex Dashlane)


Stonly is a global company with offices in Poland, France, & the US. We’ve raised over $22m in 2022 with top VC funds Accel & NorthZone. Our ambition is huge: to become the leading knowledge platform for customer service - a $50 billion market - and become an iconic tech brand in the space.


As a QA Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with developers and product managers to ensure quality is integrated at every stage of the development process. This includes designing comprehensive test plans for upcoming features, creating clear bug reports that enable the team to address issues quickly, reproducing issues to identify root causes, and developing robust end-to-end automated tests using Playwright. These tests will act as our safety net, allowing us to deploy confidently and efficiently.


What You’ll Do?


  • Establish and evolve QA process ensuring a high level of quality and velocity while developing new Stonly features

  • Prepare test plans and run manual tests for any new and/or critical features before release

  • Reproduce and identify the origin of reported issues to help in their resolution

  • Help prioritize issues in order to add the to team backlogs

  • Provide feedback on the product experience and possible improvements

  • Help with other tasks depending on the company’s priorities

  • You are fluent in English

  • You have 2+ years of relevant experience in testing

  • You have good knowledge about manual testing, creation of test plans, and reporting issues

  • You know the basics of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)

  • You are detail-oriented and have a curious mind

  • You have excellent communication skills

  • You enjoy working with people and consider yourself a team player


Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points):


  • Familiarity with tools used on a day-to-day basis by Stonly team (Playwright, Testmo, Jenkins)

What does our recruitment process look like?


  • You will first have a chat with Aneta our Talent Acquisition Manager (30 min)

  • You’ll then have a general meeting with Michał our Lead Fronted Engineer (60 min)

  • You’ll then work on a task and discuss it with Michał, Nastia (QA Engineer) and Alicja (Engineering Manager) during the technical meeting (1,5 h)

  • You’ll then have a conversation with Alexis (CEO and co-founder) (30min)
