Job description

The Opportunity

Stonly is an AI knowledge platform for customer service. Our SaaS platform helps companies (King, Castorama, AMC, Canal+, Carta, and many more) automate their customer service with AI and interactive knowledge delivered at the point of need for both agents and customers.

The company was created 7 years ago by Alexis (former co-founder and CPO of Dashlane), David (ex VP sales and marketing at Calendly) & Krzysztof (ex Dashlane).

Stonly is a global company with offices in Poland, France, & the US. We’ve raised over $22m in 2022 with top VC funds Accel & NorthZone. Our ambition is huge: to become the leading knowledge platform for customer service - a $50 billion market - and become an iconic tech brand in the space.

Product Design at Stonly is at the heart of our growth and innovation. As a Product Designer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform by bridging the gap between user needs and cutting-edge technology. You will work in a tight-knit "trio" alongside Product Management and Engineering, ensuring that every solution we build is not only functional but intuitive and delightful.

You will own the full-stack product design process, from discovery and generative research through concept validation to high-fidelity execution and post-release. Beyond refining the UX of our platform, you’ll act as a strategic partner in our AI initiatives, experimenting with large language models and intelligent interfaces to optimize both the end-user experience and our internal product workflows

You'll be part of a committed team that values constant learning, continuous improvement, and deep collaboration. We offer the independence you need to innovate within our AI ecosystem, along with the support required to shape the future of customer service solutions at Stonly!

What You’ll Do:

  • Pragmatic Discovery: Apply lean UX research methods to ground concepts in real user needs, prioritizing high-impact insights over rigid, time-consuming processes.

  • Collaborative Shaping: Partner with PMs and Engineering to co-create early concepts and prototypes, balancing bold innovation with technical feasibility.

  • Iterative Design & Validation: Transform discoveries into intuitive Figma flows, actively influencing feature specs and pivoting designs as new constraints or problems arise.

  • End-to-End Execution: Drive pixel-perfect implementation alongside engineers and monitor post-release performance to ensure real customer value.

  • System thinking: Utilize and scale our design system to maintain consistent UX patterns and a polished UI across the platform.

  • AI-Augmented Workflow: Experiment with AI tools for rapid insight analysis, lightning-fast prototyping or even deploying live code

Skills and Experience:

  • Product Design Experience: 2 - 3 years of demonstrated history in Product Design, ideally within a SaaS environment with a portfolio that illustrates end-to-end project involvement, from initial research and discovery through to the final user interface delivery.

  • Proven AI Design Experience: You have a track record of shipping real-world, user-facing AI products. You understand how to design for model latency, conversational UI, and non-linear, adaptive user flows.

  • Lean Research & Synthesis: Proven ability to plan and conduct UX research, choosing appropriate methods, and translating findings into practical, actionable insights.

  • The "Double Diamond" Mindset: Deep understanding of the Double Diamond process and the ability to apply it flexibly in a fast-paced environment.

  • AI-Native Workflow: You don't just design AI; you use it. You are curious about—and likely already using—AI tools to automate manual tasks, analyze data, or prototype ideas faster.

  • Figma Mastery: Proficiency in Figma, including maintaining Design Systems using Variables, Auto-layout, and components.

  • An Eye for Detail: Not just in aesthetics, but in logic. You are the first to catch friction points in early wireframes, proactively solving UX problems before they reach implementation.

  • Constant Curiosity: You’re always hunting for new tools and ways to improve how we build and maintain our product.

  • Fluent English - We work in an international environment, so you’ll need to be comfortable communicating in English every day.

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points):

  • Vibe Coding: Familiarity with AI tools and processes to generate production-ready code.

Working at Stonly

  • Core Values & Culture: We care deeply about our customers, our business growth, and each team member’s career and success. We prioritize team-building, collaboration, working with people we enjoy and who push us to become better.

  • Flexible Contract Options: Choose between an employment contract or a B2B contract based on your preference.

  • Equity Opportunities: Equity options are included as part of your compensation package.

  • Prime Office Location: Work from our office in the heart of Kraków.

  • Comprehensive Healthcare: Enjoy private healthcare for your peace of mind.

  • Fitness Perks: Access to a Multisport card to support your fitness goals.

  • Flat Organizational Structure: Experience a non-hierarchical environment that promotes direct communication and collaboration.
