As a Junior QA Engineer, you’ll work with our customer working on a software product for healthcare professionals and patients. The product helps patients follow a prescribed treatment regime based on their drug prescription. It supports better therapy outcomes and encourages patient participation by using an electronic auto-injector device to transfer injection data.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1.5 year or less of working experience in software quality assurance;
- SCRUM processes understanding;
- QA process understanding;
- Experience with web-based systems’ testing;
- Familiarity of testing of native mobile apps (iOS/Android);
- Ability to execute basic SQL queries;
- Understanding of the CI concept basics;
- Passion for ‘breaking things’ and a desire to learn from each QA task;
- Intermediate level English or above.
Good to have:
- Strong problem solving skills and a result-oriented focus;
- Experience in doing performance and/or automated testing;
- Computer science degree or similar;
Day to day work would imply:
- Execute test plans and communicate the progress on the assigned tasks;
- Product requirements analysis and processing;
- Gathering QA/test metrics and reporting to QA Leads and/or the client;
- Organizing of QA documentation;
- Being a part of the agile delivery team, working closely with development/design/product management to coordinate the effort;
- Taking part in continuous process improvement, giving process recommendations.
